The SVP will be critical in originating, structuring, and executing project finance transactions while fostering and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project finance, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of financial markets and industry trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Origination and Deal Structuring:
- Identify and assess potential project finance opportunities across various industries, including renewable energy, infrastructure, real estate, and natural resources.
- Lead the origination process by cultivating and nurturing relationships with clients, developers, investors, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to structure innovative and customized financial solutions that meet the specific needs of clients.
Transaction Execution:
- Oversee the execution of project finance transactions from initial due diligence through closing, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Manage deal teams and external advisors to drive efficient execution and timely delivery of financial solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies to optimize deal structures and enhance investment returns.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic insights, financial expertise, and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking efforts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional client service.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Foster professional growth and development through training programs, coaching, and performance feedback.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, or related fields, with a focus on origination, structuring, and execution of complex transactions.
- Proven track record of successfully originating and executing project finance transactions across multiple industries and geographies.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and develop creative solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
