Director of Business Development

About the job

The Director of Business Development will be crucial in growing the company's project portfolio and originating solar development opportunities by nurturing and managing relationships with end users and energy service vendors. Reporting to the C-Suite, you will guide Northeast US clients (Fortune 500s, municipals, federal, etc.) in adopting on-site solar and other renewable energy technologies. 

The ideal candidate will have:

• 4+ years of experience in Business Development and Origination within the commercial renewable energy industry.

• Strong knowledge in presenting proposals and contract negotiations for power purchase (PPA), lease, and installation agreements.

• Business Development and Origination in Renewable Energy

• Track record in closing deals with Fortune 500s, Key Corporate Accounts/MUSH accounts (municipal, university, state, and hospital).
