Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for your next opportunity?
Consult Energy is working with a forward-thinking, customer focused Utilities business who are looking for a dedicated professional to join their Credit Control team.

The Role:
As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing outstanding customer debt, resolving billing issues, and arranging payment plans. You will work closely with domestic customers, helping them to better understand and manage their energy accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contacting customers to recover outstanding debt (primarily domestic accounts)
• Setting up payment arrangements and Direct Debits
• Investigating customer accounts to resolve billing issues
• Liaising with internal teams to ensure accurate account management

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven Credit Control experience (essential)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Solid maths and IT skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Tenacious, driven, and adaptable

Location: Office-based in Hertford (Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm)
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per year
