SVP of Project Finance and Capital Markets

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Vice President of Project Finance to join a leading IPP in the Community Solar Space! A successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial strategy and execution of our solar projects, ensuring their successful development, financing, and implementation of projects within the space. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies for solar projects, considering factors such as financing options, risk management, and investment returns.

• Project Financing: Lead the negotiation and structuring of project financing arrangements, including debt financing, tax equity financing, and other funding mechanisms, to support the development and construction of solar projects.

• Financial Modeling: Oversee the development and maintenance of robust financial models to evaluate project economics, investment returns, and cash flow projections.

• Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks associated with solar projects, implement risk mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

• Investor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to secure financing and support the growth of the company's solar project portfolio.

• Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to the project finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture focused on achieving strategic objectives and delivering results.

• Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting the solar energy sector, and leverage insights to inform strategic decision-making.

• Due Diligence: Oversee financial due diligence processes for potential solar project acquisitions or partnerships, evaluating investment opportunities and assessing their alignment with the company's objectives.
