Our client is a growing organization dedicated to driving the transition to clean, sustainable energy solutions. We specialize in developing, constructing, and operating renewable energy projects, mainly Solar and DG. 

As the Director of Project Finance, you will play a critical role in leading the financial structuring, analysis, and execution of renewable energy projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to secure financing, manage financial risks, and optimize project economics.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Structuring: Lead the structuring of project finance transactions for renewable energy projects, including debt, tax equity, and equity financing.

• Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including cash flow modeling, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessment, to evaluate project feasibility and optimize financial returns.

• Capital Raising: Identify and secure financing sources, including commercial banks, institutional investors, tax equity partners, and development finance institutions, to fund project development and construction.

• Due Diligence: Manage financial due diligence processes for project financing transactions, including reviewing project documents, financial statements, legal agreements, and regulatory compliance.

• Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks associated with renewable energy projects, including market, regulatory, and operational risks.

• Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including lenders, investors, developers, and government agencies, to facilitate project finance transactions and support business development efforts.

• Reporting and Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements and regulatory standards for project finance transactions, including debt covenants, tax equity agreements, and project contracts.

• Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to the project finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, or corporate finance, with a focus on renewable energy or infrastructure projects.

• Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.

• Demonstrated track record of successfully structuring and closing project finance transactions for renewable energy projects.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.

• Knowledge of renewable energy industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.

• Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or similar certification preferred.
