Job Title: Associate Recruitment Consultant

Joining Consult Energy was my first step into recruitment, and I’ve loved every minute. Currently 5 months into my role as of January 2023, I’m working towards passing my probation at the 6-month mark. Coming into this role with no previous sales or recruitment experience, it’s been a steep learning curve but it’s one that I have relished so far. 

The support I’ve had since joining consult has been amazing. From my manager Joseph to the directors Kev and Rich, I’ve always felt like I have support and help whenever I’ve needed it. Having great people around me all day everyday has been great, and I’ve tried to be a sponge during my first few months and soak it all in! 

My favourite thing about working for Consult Energy is undoubtedly the culture. The team around me, along with the many incentives and group activities, creates a fun but hard-working culture that I love being a part of. 

It’s been a great 5 months, but so far, my proudest moment has definitely been winning the UK rookie of the year award at our annual Christmas party. To be recognised for the hard work that I’ve put in during my short time here is a great feeling and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me at Consult Energy.
