Consult Energy is proud to announce its shortlisting for the Global Recruiter’s Best Specialist Recruitment Business Award for 2021. The Global Recruiter Awards are designed to be a celebration of excellence in recruitment, and are revered in the industry for maintaining a high standard of service in the recruitment space through what they do.

To be considered for an award after what has been a very challenging period for us all is an incredible achievement. Not only that, but the business takes immense pride in the fact that the award Consult is being shortlisted for applauds recruitment companies that possess strong industry knowledge. The shortlist for Best Specialist Recruitment Business Award is very well considered and only includes those who are truly a part of their sector rather than operating on the periphery.

As a business, we’re ecstatic about the prospect of winning this award and being recognised for our industry knowledge. We’ve worked really hard over the years to build our specialist team that knows the sector inside out and made our name synonymous with helping to grow the energy and utilities space. It means a lot to know that others can see Consult’s passion for what we do, and we really do consider ourselves a part of the energy industry.

Both founders of Consult Energy, Richard Bartlett and Kevin Tyler are delighted by the news of Consult’s nomination and feel it would be the perfect end to a year that defied all odds. It’s no secret that the last year was an extremely turbulent one for the UK, the silver lining for Consult being that it’s  seen substantial growth during that time.

Through launching a new clean energy division to help the UK keep up with growing demand for sustainable business, launching  the USA arm of the business and expanding the team from 12 to 35 people since June 2020 – there’s a lot to celebrate. Co-founder and Director of USA Operations, Richard Bartlett, elaborates:

“After what has been the hardest 18 months we have ever experienced as a business I am bursting with pride with how our team have faced all of the challenges head on. We have grown our headcount during the pandemic and are now a more robust business as we can confidently predict that the coming years will be our best ever.”

Co-founder and Director of UK Operations, Kevin Tyler, heralds Consult’s people as the driving force behind the company’s success through such adversity. Together, the team has worked incredibly hard to become a pillar of support to those in the energy and utilities space during this period of uncertainty.

He had the following to say: “Despite how tough the last couple of years have been for everyone, our colleagues have ensured that the quality of service we provide to candidates and clients has stayed extremely high. It means so much to us to play a significant role supporting the energy and utilities industry in what is a hugely exciting and critically important time for the sector.”
