Job Title: Learning & Development Manager
My role as Learning and Development manager helps to equip our team of consultants with the best training and support to do their jobs to the best of their ability. Since joining, my role has transitioned into new areas such as focussing on team engagement, and I am really enjoying adding another string to my bow.
Of course, with every role there are challenges along the way, but I have welcomed these challenges as it’s helped to develop my skillset. I think the biggest area of growth for me personally, has been my organisation and prioritisation skills. In recruitment, it can be fast paced and priorities can change very quickly, so knowing which tasks are more ‘business critical’ than others, is important.
In 2022 our growth plans across the business were incredible; this was heavily reliant on us having a clear and concise induction for new starters and is something I am really proud of building from the ground up. It’s been a real focus for us a company to welcome new members and make them feel a part of the team from day one.
My favourite part of working at Consult Energy is our people - Like minded colleagues who all want to see each other succeed. Recruitment can be a real rollercoaster, and it’s so important to have a good team behind you!
