Company Background 

Cadent Gas is a British regional gas distribution company that owns, operates and maintains the largest natural gas distribution network in the United Kingdom, transporting gas to 11 million homes and businesses across North West England, West Midlands, East Midlands, East of England and North London  

The challenge

A new project that needed a Project Manager & Business Analyst with technical experience on a niche software platform. 

What happened next? 

I spoke with the hiring manager and on the call I established all the requirements.

Once I understood the requirements, I was able to check the profiles in my network and I had a suitable Project Manager who I was able to send across while still on the phone who they liked, we set up an interview and the candidate was offered after 1-stage.

I didn’t have a suitable Business Analyst in my network, so I started a new search utilising the recruitment tools we have at our disposal within 24 hours I had 2 suitable candidates screened and sent across ready for interview. One candidate was offered the role after they interviewed.

The client was able to start both candidates within 10 days
