Job Title: Principal Consultant - Finance - USA

I started at Consult at the very start of the first lockdown – I was the first hire and was on-boarded remotely into a new industry, a new job role and working in a new country! I have been challenged daily – be it working in the pandemic (with lots of candidates and limited clients) to now a strong client portfolio in a candidate short market; I’ve certainly learnt how to be resilient! 

My favorite part about working at Consult has been to see the growth from pretty much ground zero to where we are today; an established recruiter in the Renewable Energy market. I started out as Consultant (Candidate Delivery) and have been promoted twice to now Principal Consultant, leading the New England Finance desk.  

I’m most proud of the success – from starting with 0 candidates and a small pool of clients, to my candidates billing over $1.5 million across two years! 

I have recently returned to work after taking 6 months extended paternity leave. I am super grateful to the team at Consult Energy for supporting me in this decision, as it was so important to me and my family to be able to take time out from my career to look after my little boy, Bertie.
